GASPARILLA ISLAND
Lying 10 nautical miles due west of our base, on the north side of Boca Grande Pass, is the barrier island, Gasparilla. This island is home to the quant village of Boca Grande offering a variety of restaurants, shops, golfing, and accommodations. Boca Grande Marina, a top notch facility, offers a great layover to take advantage visits to the beach, dine at the historic Gasparilla Inn, or a golf cart rental to explore the island. CAYO COSTA ISLAND
Also lying 10 nautical miles west, on the south side of Boca Grande Pass, is the barrier island Cayo Costa. A Florida State Park, the island is only accessible by boat. Pelican Bay, a well protected anchorage from 300º of wind, is a must on your cruise. Drop a hook, dinghy to the park dock, and walk through nature to a fantastic beach to snorkel, shell, fish, or just hang out. Visit the park site [here].

CABBAGE KEY
Head south from the Boca Grande Pass via the ICW and within a few miles you reach Cabbage Key.
Directly across the ICW is the island of Cabbage Key. This is a must stop if you can fit it in your plans. From the hilltop restaurant and bar, you have a fantastic view of Cayo Costa Island and Pine Island Sound. CAPTIVA, SANIBEL, AND ESTERO ISLANDS
Within a four to six hour sail south of Boca Grande Pass you will find excellent anchorages, vacation resorts, and the best beaches the Gulf of Mexico and the world has to offer!
Captiva and Sanibel Islands offer vacation class destinations and resort activities. South Seas Island Resort, a full service marina and resort, offers access to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. This is a great options for your cruise as it gives you access to many restaurants, shopping, and beach activities. Visit Doc Ford's, local home of author Randy Wayne White, for a taste of the island seafood. Fort Myers Beach is located on Estero Island, the next barrier island south of Sanibel. This is home to talc sand beaches and the lively beach bar crowd. Pink Shell Resort and Marina is a great place to spend the night and access this lively experience and offer a nice discount to our clients.
